Fingal East Meath Flood Risk Assessment and Management Study

Flood maps

Predictive flood maps are a key output of the Fingal East Meath FRAMS. The flood maps represent all areas that are likely to be inundated at some point during a flood event (caused by either river overtopping or tidal overtopping). These maps are derived using information from detailed hydrological analysis and hydraulic computer modelling.

Draft flood extent maps for the Fingal East Meath catchment are available to download below. All other maps (i.e. zone, depth, velocity and hazard) are available from Fingal County Council.

The maps maps have been been made available for the different watercourses and coastal reach assessed as part of this study. Please spend some time looking through the maps – particularly areas you know or where you have seen flooding – and send us any comments you may have: how they look, how understandable they are, etc.
